Taking the first step

 

 

Good morning everyone! So, I just completed the first pilates routine I have done in what feels like ages and I feel AMAZING! 🙂 It’s so funny how before I even get ready for the workout, though, my mind comes up with a 1,000 reasons to not do it (even though I know I’ll feel better after). >.>

I don’t really know what to call that phenomenon but I am determined to overcome myself when it comes to that! Isn’t it crazy how your own worst enemy can be yourself? All the voices in your head saying that it’s too much work or not enough time. Or worse yet, remembering hurtful comments others have said.

 

I have to keep believing in my dreams and more importantly in myself to overcome these obstacles. I have to make it a point to remember to do so everyday! It feels AMAZING to complete a goal and to know that I believed in myself and that I am capable! 🙂

Picking up where I left off :)

Hey all! Sorry it’s been a bit since I’ve last posted. Long story short, I got engaged to the love of my life last year and my life has been a crazy, wonderful whirlwind since! 😉

I am trying to get back on the fitness train as, needless to say, I put it on a back burner these last few months and I am starting to feel the effects of it. >.>

Hopefully, I’ll be able to boost not only my inspiration again but my hubby’s as well. ❤
